Spencer Medical is the sister practice to our established and prestigious dental group, Visage Dental, with practices located in Harpenden and St Albans.
‍
My name is Esther, and I have over 25 years’ experience in dentistry and healthcare. I began my career as a dental nurse before qualifying as a Dental Hygienist in 2000. Over the years, I have gained extensive clinical, managerial, and compliance experience, working alongside leading professionals and running my own dental hygiene consultancy and compliance business.

In 2016, I founded Visage Dental Harpenden, followed in 2019 by the acquisition of an established specialist dental practice in St Albans. This expansion enabled us to offer comprehensive dental care under one trusted brand, with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centred care.
‍
Recognising the growing need for accessible, personalised healthcare – and the strong link between oral health and overall wellbeing – I made the decision to expand into private medical GP services. The principles that underpin our dental practices – high clinical standards, exceptional patient experience, and community engagement – translate seamlessly into general medical care.
‍
Spencer Medical was therefore founded to offer a holistic, integrated approach to health, acknowledging that dental health both reflects and influences broader medical conditions. By bringing medical and dental services together, we are able to support both preventive and therapeutic care, all under one roof, leading to improved patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Spencer Medical is co-founded with Dr Anna, whose medical expertise complements my background in healthcare leadership, clinical governance, and patient care. Together, we share a vision of delivering thoughtful, personalised, and high-quality private medical services.
